Privacy policy

HEEEVEN Ltd is the controller of personal data collected through this site. We handle it under the UK GDPR and, for users in Nigeria, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, phone and, for brokers, business and verification information (we store only the last 4 characters of ID numbers).
  • Listings, photos, documents and property details you provide. Exact addresses and documents are private to you and our review team.
  • Enquiries you send to brokers, including your contact details, which are shared with that broker.
  • Payment records. Card details are handled by our payment providers; we never see or store them.
  • Technical data such as cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your currency preference.

How we use it

  • To run the marketplace, produce estimates and reports, process payments and prevent fraud (contract and legitimate interests).
  • To meet legal obligations, such as keeping payment records.
  • Market observations are used to improve estimates; we do not publish personal details with them.

Who we share it with

Service providers that host and operate the site: Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe and, where used, Paystack (payments), Google Maps (maps and nearby places), Anthropic (optional AI-written explanations, without your contact details) and ExchangeRate-API (currency rates). Some providers process data outside the UK or Nigeria under appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to certain processing, and complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Valuation snapshots and payment records are kept as permanent records so reports remain verifiable and accounts are accurate.
